Dear Ro,
I'm writing about my fiance. He's wonderful, smart and attractive. The only problem is his last name is Weenie. If that wasn't bad enough my first name is Ura. I love him but I don't know if I can live with that kind of name. It's also really important to him that I take his last name to carry it on. What should I do?

Dear Mrs. Weenie,
This is a tough one (excuse the pun). The only suggestion I can make is hyphen the Weenie. That way it dosen't say Ura Weenie directly, there's a distraction. I went through something like this. My ex-boyfriend's last name was Fagg. So it's not as bad as being dumped by a Fagg. Now being a Weenie doesn't sound so hard (seriously no pun intended) but it will all work out....Good luck! |

I know you always promote the love your body attitude but I have a chin and neck problem. They don't seperate, it's just a really long neck and no chin. How do I take care of this poblem? It seems hopeless...

You've asked the right person for this one. I, too have a body part that dosen't seperate...my cankles. That's where the calves and ankle form one big log. So I know what your going through. I have to stay away from boots and capri's and I never, ever wear an ankle bracelet. You can apply the same concept. Stay away from turtlenecks and bulky scarves. Also don't even think of wearing a choker necklace...it will look misplaced. It's knowing how to wear things to flatter our imperfections. You'll look great!

It is very fustrating. Los Angeles especially seems to be the land of "I got your message last month and I'm calling you back". I have those days also..nobody calls or leaves messages. I get very insecure. Then I think maybe everyone is going to throw me a surprise party, and I just have to go find it. That usually keeps me hoping till they eventually call me back. Try it. |
